The unthinkable happened this afternoon. I was riding along a back road and came to a four way stop. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I started to accelerate through the intersection and little Suzi started to cough and sputter and stopped running so I coasted over to the side of the road. I got off the bike to take a look and saw gas spraying out of the petcock area onto the engine. The next think I knew the gas ignited and little Suzi was engulfed in a ball of flames. I ran over to the other side of the road and watched as the gas tank exploded a few minutes later. There is nothing left but a burned out hulk. Man I loved that bike. About an hour or two after the fire started a local farmer who saw the smoke came out with his truck and we put what was left of little Suzi into the back of his pickup. Man what am I going to do know. I guess I'll work some overtime and make some cash to buy a new bike.
